The Search for Alice is wonderfully written and a captivating twist on a classic tale. Amy Koto has done a great job of incorporating modern fantasy in a way that resonates with her readers. I am a high school teacher and I am always looking for books that will engage my reluctant readers. I was able to share this book with a few of them and they loved it. My most reluctant reader immediately related to the character of Kallie and she ended up finishing the book in 2 days! I've never heard her talk so much about a book before! We are all anxiously awaiting book 2!
A talented new author has emerged from Wonderland with a splendid and refreshing writing style.  Familiar references resonate throughout this delightfully enchanting tale.  The Search for Alice by Amy Koto is a must read for those daring and curious enough to chase after their own White Rabbit.   Can't wait for Book Two of the Dreaming of Wonderland Series.  Bravo  Amy Koto !!
The search for Alice by Amy Koto will take you on a classic adventure, with darker elements of love, fate, and coming of age. The story of Ches, and Kallie is one for the ages.. It is truly a captivating wonderland, and a must read..I can't wait for the next book in the series!
I just finished reading Amy's book and urge you all to please read it. I was immediately drawn into to the main character who gave me such a sense of nostalgia. Amy has excellent writing style that pulls you right in from the beginning and urges you to keep turning the page. I felt like I was actually on this journey and loved every minute of it. I can't wait for the next book!
The Search for Alice was a pleasant surprise. Think "Once Upon a Time" meets "The Vampire Diaries" with a unique voice and story of its very own. I was immediately drawn in to the plot, which is important because I hate feeling like reading is an obligation. The story was fast paced and it kept my attention the entire time. I really connected to the characters and felt like I could see Kallie as my best friend in real life. I could really relate to her and she had a fun narration. The writing style was excellent and refreshing and the voice was believable. I seriously cannot wait until book 2! I definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for something fun, entertaining, and magical to read. Loved it!
